"Pressure" REVIEW

It's one of the toughest decisions that any general must make and that is when to launch an attack especially when the military is sea bound. What many don't realize, weather means everything. Calling on meteorologists that special in predicting weather can especially be imperative and in launching of D-Day, it's what Gerneral Eisenhower depended on and in fact enlisted the best, James Stagg to do just that. The question is could they really trust Stagg's knowledge especially when others contradicted him.
Based on true events from 1944 when the United States were faced with the ultimate decision that might in fact in the war, Pressure is a film for all history buffs alike. It's packed with action packed sequences as well as dialogue heavy scenes that truly paints the true picture of the "pressure" that all military leaders ultimately go through.
Brendon Frasier does a spot on job of portraying Eisenhower from his facial features to his mannerisms and dialogue. One really feels like we are watching histrory in the making. Addtionally the cast includes Kerry Condon as well as Andrew Scott, Chris Messina, and Damian Lewis. Combined with real archival footage, it's a film that will have have truly engulfed in history that took place almost 80 years aga.
Pressure came out in theaters May 28th and is currently playing in one near you. See it for the history nerd in all of us.
