"28 Years Later" REVIEW

Years after the virus affected humanity on the mainland, a few survivors made refuge on a secluded island with a single pathway to visit the mainland for resources. Now as a rite of passage a young boy has his chance of going to the mainland to hunt the infected, but what he finds is hope to save his ailing mother. The question is will he be able to do so or will death be his ultimate fate?

28 Years Later follows the same story as its predecessors with an all new cast. This time the cast includes Free Guy's Jodie Comer, Fall Guy's Aaron Taylor Johnson, Conclave's Ralph Fiennes, and young Alfie Williams in what seems like a breakout performance to take notice of. All in all, the cast does an exceptional job of bring horror and suspense to the big screen. That being said there is a lot more substance to the film than one would imagine as it takes you on a journey of acceptance for someone who is dealing with sickness as the climax of the film reveals the inevitable.

The post apocalyptic film, 28 Years Later will entertain movie goers with it's suspenseful scenes and surprisingly heartfelt moments that will have one glued to the screen. It came out in theaters June 20th and is currently playing in one near you.
