"Honey Don't" REVIEW

Ain't no one want to mess with Miss Honey O'Donnahue, the newest female P.I in a small town. When people from a local church begin to die mysterious, it's up to Honey to figure out just what is happening. That path isn't quite all it's cracked up to be as the local police are quite questionable.

In a word, it's yet another Sherlock Holmes, only if Holmes wore high heels and with a slight seductive pleasure that is of the Lesbian nature.

The film stars Once Upon a Time In Hollywood's Margaret Qualley as Honey as she captures the very heart of the character. All in all, she does a good job of portraying that female PI while keeping the dialogue fun and quirky especially with her male counterpart, Charlie Day. She even has a catch line when asked out that is "She likes girls". Similar the film also stars Chris Evans as the Reverend in question for the murders, as well as Aubrey Plaza and Lera Abova to name a few.

All in all, Honey Don't is an intriguing story with some very adult conduct especially when Qualley floats in the river completely nude. That being said, it's a film that may not be completely appropriate for a younger audience. It is rated R for just that sexual content as well as violence and strong language.

Honey Don't came out in theaters Aug 22 and is currently playing in one near you.
