"Toy Story 5" REVIEW

The fifth installation of the Toy Story Franchise is back and bringing old fans and new to the box office for father's day. This time it's Jessie's story that they are exploring as we learn more about Jessie's first owner as tech enters Bonnie's world to challenge play time for the toys. It's a battle of old age toys versus new age tech as both seek one thing, to help Bonnie ultimately make a friend. What we realize is it ultimately takes both to do just that.

Toy Story 5 reunites the same lovable voice actors including Joan Cusack as Jessie, Tim Allen as Buzz lightyear and of course Tom Hanks as Woody and Scarlett Spears as Bonnie. They are joined with new voices including Greta Lee as Lilypad, Mykal-Michelle Harris as Blaze, Conan O'Brien ans Smarty Pants, Shelby Rabara as Snappy and Craig Robinson as Atlas.

The newest version features a lot of the same elements that made Toy story an instant classic. With heartfelt sentimental moments that will have kids young and old laughing, crying and essentially reminiscing over the past, it's the perfect continuation of the classic tale of what happens when the kids are gone. It also shows an important lesson when kids try to grow up too fast. All in all we learn a valuable lesson, that toys really do make a difference in all children, no matter how long the child plays. The sentimental truth of Jessie's original owner will leave you reaching for tissues before the movie's over.

Toy Story 5 is the perfect culminating movie great for all ages. For any Taylor Swift fan, one will be impressed as she wrote a unique song for the end of the film that ties the entire franchise together perfectly.
