Nate Wilcox has always been the "breadwinner' of his family, bringing in everything while his wife takes care of their 3 daughters. When his wife invents a truly unique product to help their children in organization, and finds herself on the road that ends to landing a Shark Tank deal in an effort to launch her business, Nate suddenly finds himself as "Mr. Mom". He attempts to try to keep order the way his wife would, but after 2 weeks, enough is enough as he winds up doing things his own way as he attempts to reclaim his breadwinner and salesmen of the year title.
This comical take of the classic "Mr. Mom" will have audiences busting up at the seemingly stupid things that men attempt to do in place of the mom. The film stars Nate Bargatze who also played a crucial part in writing this as an extended version of his stand up comedy platform. Addtionally the film also stars Mandy Moore, Kumail Nanjiani, Will Forte and the entire Shark Tank cast as we see the deal come to life and the consequences and sacrifices that must be made to make "The StarMinder" come to life.
Finally, one can't forget the impeccable casting choice of the three young girls as the daughters who equally folly Nate's comedic charm in their own kid like way.
In a word, this movie is the "dad era" on steriods with iconic nods to how "dad" would do things as opposed to the mom that knows best.
Overall, it's virtually a clean cut family film for the whole family that will have you remembering what is really important even over all successes in life. The Breadwinner came out in theaters May 28th and is currently playing in one near you.
