Truth and Treason

A 16 year old boy decides to take matters in his own hands by fighting back against one of the greatest dictators in history. He does so not with weapons but with the power of words and truth. Ultimately he pays his life for it but it is that sacrifice that sparks the German resistance against hitler.
The powerful Angel Studio Film stars Ewan Horrocks, Ferdinand McKay and Daf Thomas who do a remarkable job of portraying the young men who ignited the revolution.
Additionally there is a biblical aspect to the film that ties into the heart of what Angel films stands for. The film uses biblical conduct to convey what is going on and essentially the sacrifice of the young teen as he stands for the truth as compared to the ultimate sacrifice of our Lord.
All in all Truth and Treason paints a unique side to the historical World Wars from the eyes of Germany itself and the people who made the ultimate choice to stand for the truth.
The film came out in theaters October 16th and is currently playing in one near you.
After The Hunt

It’s the very real situational drama regarding something that is all to common in this day of age. A young Black woman is focused on writing her dissertation about moral virtues after being the latest victim of rape at a prestigious university known as Yale. When she confides in a professor whom she feels comfortable with, things get uncomfortable very quickly. now that student must decide which path to take even with her professor telling her not to risk her career. All the while the professor is faced with her own dark secret, one that she has been hiding for years as she climbed the academic ladder to success.
After the Hunt is an intriguing tale that anyone in the workplace will relate to all to well. As lately it’s become a common theme of yearly harassment training courses being implemented the film captures that as well as the after effects in a very cleaver and compelling matter.
The film stars Julia Roberts who has her own unique way of coping with the subject. Her husband played by Michael Stuhlberg does a great job of complementing her even at her lowest moment when she thinks she’s about to lose it all. Ayo Edebiri as the young student named Maggie does a stand out performance especially when standing up for herself against all those who try to keep her silent. Finally Andrew Garfield as the teacher perpetrator who is accused of the heinous act equally does a good job of becoming the one teacher that we all will grow to hate.
All in all, After The Hunt is certainly a movie to make you feel uncomfortable as it touches on things that we as society has been taught to hide for fear of people looking down on us. However it’s a very important topic and anyone in the workforce ought to get a little uncomfortable for things to change. The film came out in theaters October 16th and is currently showing in one near you.
