Angel Studios brings the next film of hope that was 30 years in the making.
Taken straight from the scriptures, David follows the books of 1st and 2nd Samuel in an animated format for even the youngest of children to gain the message. To summarize, the film goes on an adventure as David gets the prophecy of him being king as they flash forward to him being a close advisory to King Saul until King Saul realizes the truth and then seeks to destroy David even before he takes the crown and finally the culmination of a moment when David gives everything back to God once and for all.
The film contains Christian Music artists including Phil Wickham as David as well as Lauren Daigle as Rebecca and of course the music inspired by the story is just as powerful as the acting.
Additionally the film also stars Adam Michael Gold as Saul and Mark Jacobson as Jonathan.
It’s a powerful testimony of hope in the dark times that we are all facing. David is movie that all should see on the big screen as it comes out next weekend starting December 19. A film for all ages to instantly add to you must rewatch list as it will also spark your interest in the animated tv series Young David streaming only on Angel Studios for current guild members.
