What doesn’t happen at Fackham hall especially when the fate of the family is on the line. From a romance that is not of aristocratic importance to the choice or marrying for love or duty and finally a murder of the Lord Davenport that ultimately needs to be solved. It’s enough to make anyone act out in a fit of rage.

Fackham Hall ultimately is a satire comedy with a hint of a few different movies all tied together. In a word, it is  plainly Downton Abbey meets Naked Gun with a bit of Knives Out suspense. The ending will leave audiences saying “did that really just happen?

The cast includes Damien Lewis as Lord Davenport, Harry Potter’s Tom Felton, Joy’s Thomasin McKenzie as Rose Davenport, and Ben Radcliff as the alleged orphan with a secret that even he doesn't know. All do an exceptional job in the comical parody.

Additionally, the satire is narrated by long time actress Hayley Mills as a pleasant surprise.

Just a word of caution as to the nature of the comedy in the film, the language does go a bit on the adult rating where viewer discretion is strongly advised with the R rating. That being said, it will have you slightly amused throughout as one wonders what is going to happen next.

Fackham Hall came out in theaters dec 5 and is currently playing in limited theaters near you.
