The Latest musical biopic is this time about 80's rock/folk singer Bruce Springsteen and will have fans understanding their hero in a brand new light.

Deliver Me From Nowhere showcases Springsteen's struggle with depression as it highlights his early career tied to his childhood trauma as he attempts to make amends with his father years later. It highlights "Nebraska" an album that he perfected and released with his own creative liberty, despite what his record company wanted out of it and proves that it would sell even without all the glitz and glam of the music industry. It's a raw unedited album, recorded on a cassette tape that ultimately made it to number 3 without any media help.

The film stars Jeremy Allen White who does an exceptional job of capturing the heart and soul of Springsteen, even going as far as to sing some of his iconic hits. His coactors includes Jeremy Strong and Paul Walter Hauser as his music managers who ultimately is responsible for getting the albums out even with the bit of power struggle with Nebraska. They did a good job of embodying what his managers went through during that time as they stayed true to Springsteen's vision.

All in All, Deliver Me From Nowhere, though one could argue with the storyline having a slight weakness, it does satisfy ones curiosity into what was the darkest times of Springsteen's life. Springsteen, at the age of 76, is still touring live with the E-street band over seas, but his biopic can be caught at a theater near you.
