Bonnie, Chica, Foxy and Freddy are back for an even deeper adventure that goes back to the original Freddy Fazbear and the secret of why it was shut down. This time, it's an adventure that will take all animatronics to protect Mike and Abby as more secrets come out including who is guarding this particular Pizzeria.

Five Nights at Freddy's brings back Josh Hutchinson as Mike and Piper Rubio as his sister Abby, who is still obsessed with the haunted animatronics, though Mike insists that he needs to fix them. Abby, now in middle school and obsessed with the idea of robotics, decides to attempt to fix "her friends" herself. Inevitably, she finds herself up against new animatronics that are controlled electronically by one puppet master.

Additionally Elizabeth Lail returns as Vanessa, the police officer with even more secrets than just her father's involvement. We also see Vanessa's involvement as just a child that further grows the suspense as to what truly happened at the original Fazbear's pizzeria.

All in all, the storyline, is even stronger than the first as it connects the game aspect even more. Those true fans will get nothing but joy seeing the animatronics on the big screen for a second time. Additionally, the sequel also pays special tribute to those obsessive fans as the whole plot is centered around a fictional FazFest with extras cosplaying next to the real animatronics. The film also has a slightly darker feeling, though still kid approved with adult supervision of course.

Five Nights At Freddy's 2 came out in theaters Dec 4 and is currently playing in one near you. Additionally, make sure to see the original, currently streaming on Peacock with a valid subscription.
