"Soul on Fire" REVIEW

"You will walk again and I will be right there with you!"
It's that unbelievable determination that drives young John O'Leary to accomplish far more that people thought he would. After nearly surviving a complete 3rd degree burn on his entire body, the odds for John McLeary to even walk again was almost impossible. It's that impossible that drove his biggest fans to encourage him to keep on fighting. Those include his tough but fair Nurse, family and legendary Baseball Icon Jack Buck. In the end, its a determination that is completely up to him whether or not to live or die.
Based on the the true story, Soul on Fire will have audiences completely and unbelievably moved to tears. The film stars Jesus Revolution's Joel Courtney and James McCracken as the film time jumps between 1986 when young John first set fire to himself and his house by accident, to the beginning of 20 some John O'Leary who ultimately finds strength in his own soul on fire. Both actors to an incredible job of bringing such an inspiring man to life and bringing his message to the hearts of the loss.
Additionally, the film also stars, William H. Macy as Jack Buck, John Corbett as Denny Leary and DeVon Franklin as Nurse Roy, all of whom played key roles into John's survival and all of whom did an awesome job of portraying those powerful influences.
All in All Soul on Fire came out on Thursday Oct 9 and is currently playing in limited theaters near you.
