“Our Neighborhood has moved!”

When a family’s neighborhood ends up in another time period all things are at stake in a matter of life or death.  Now it’s up to them to survive and figure out how to get back to their present time zone.

In a sense, it’s ultimately Back to the Future meets Land of the Lost with a Jurassic Park charm in an adventure that is built of epic proportions. The film stars Odyssey’s Anne Hathaway in her own epic journey to survival as she takes her family along for the ride. Additionally, Star War’s Ewan McGregor plays the husband who seems at the beginning to be somewhat in another time period all together distant from that of his family.    All in all, he seems far, far away from what he is comfortable with as he goes from battling the dark Sith to a giant dinosaur.  Does he succeed? I’ll leave that to your interpretation.

Similarly, the kids, played by Nashville’s Maisy Stella and The Monkey’s Christian Convery do an outstanding job of matching the same fear of their older counterparts.

Overall, The End of Oak Street will have everyone running for their lives as they try to figure out how to survive next to the prehistoric dinosaurs that know roam their neighborhood.  The question is like Land of The Lost will the family find a satisfying solution or let the dinosaurs be their demise.

At an hour forty-minute run time, The End of Oak Street came out in theaters August `14th and is currently playing in one near you.
