How far are you willing to walk for all the fame and riches? It’s a survival game that happens every year by way of lottery of young boys. Essentially the mission is walk a certain speed or die in Stephen King's first short story that holds a certain hunger games flare.
The film stars Cooper Hoffman and David Jonnson as strangers who end up forming a unique friendship as each put their lives on the line for the other. In King fashion, The Long Walk contains a lot of the same elements as his other writings and that is just how important friendship and even more so brotherhood is when faced with the fear of death. Both Hoffman and Jonnson capture that emotion in such a way that will have audiences rooting for them and hoping for another miracle similar to the first Hunger Games.
Addtitionally, the film also stars Jurassic World's Judy Greer and Star War's Mark Hamill in what is sure to be the most emotional film of the year.
The Long Walk came out in theaters September 12th and is currently playing in one near you.
