The Killer has returned to Southport, nearly 30 years after the original. When a group of friends make a pact to hide what happened one July 4th. Now a year later, at the bridal shower, a familiar note turns up that sends chills down their spines as they try to survive the terror of Southport.

The latest spinoff does justice to the original while making it, its own largely due to the actors that portray the group of friends, The chemistry between the five are very much similar to that of the original which by the way is so strong that three had to make a return. Those three include Freddie Prinze Jr, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sarah Michelle Gellar who all return to reprise their original roles in this film. Joining the cast, includes Madelyn Cline as Danica, Chase Sui Wonders as Ava, Jonah Hauer-King as Milo, Tyriq Withers as Teddy, and Sarah Pidgeon as Stevie.

All in all, "I Know What You Did Last Summer" will have you on the edge of your seats, in a lot of the same ways as the original. With several jump scares that will have you clinging to something, it gets audiences rready for the upcoming Halloween scason. That being said, the "killer" is somewhat predictable if you pay attention to the hints, onc can truly guess who is responsible but the why will leave you saying, "That's pretty good".

At an hour 51 minutes, "I Know What You Did Last Summer" is a film that will have you looking at revenge in an all new light. The film came out in theaters July 18th and is currently playing in one near you.
