"Obsession" REVIEW

Bear's one wish is to have the girl of his dreams love him. When he stumbles into a magic store in search of a gem necklace for her, he discovers the Wishing Willow that could make that dream come true. Caution follows as his dream unfolds before his eyes, but that love turns more into that of "obsession" which leave him to face a tragic end for nothing else but to set the girl free.
Focus Features' latest psychological horror film will have you pondering that age old fear that is "Be careful what you wish for!"The movie ultimately gives new definition to being completely obsessed and the cast does a good job of conveying that on the big screen.
The film stars a relative new cast including Michael Johnston as Bear who does an exceptional job as that typical shy guy who attempts to muster up the courage to ask out "Nikki" (played by Inde Navarrette. She equally has a instinctional knack for playing that of a someone completely obsessed. Supporting cast includes Cooper Tomlinson and Megan Lawless who equally do a good job of supporting Bear as he tries to handle Nikki's new obsession.
The film came out in theaters May 15th and is currently playing in one near you. See it for a film that will have you on the edge of your seats as you hold on to your love ones and attempt to protect them from the horror behind the "obsession".
