Sisu:Road to Revenge

After the apparent slaughter of one man’s family, all that’s left is revenge. That road though is nothing short of pretty but it does show the determination wins out when all the Soviets are out to get you.

The film stars Stephen Lang who does an exceptional job of acting as the villain on the big screen. Additionally Jorma Tommila did an equally good job of fighting back against Lang and exceeding over all even through all the pain he endured.

All in all, Sisu is an action packed sequel that will have one’s attention. With very realistic portrayals of what is actually happening in Ukraine combined with fictional explosions and near mutilation that that will have your stomach turning. It’s something that will have those weak of the stomach cautiously concerned.

Sisu: Road to Revenge came out November 21st and is currently playing in a theater near you

Rental Family REVIEW

Struggling American actor living in Japan gets the role of his life that is meant to create memories. The only thing is how close is too close before people get hurt.

The film stars Brendon Frazier who certainly taps into his emotional side in ways that will make you tear up from the inside out. It’s definitely an Oscar worthy role that one would hope would win him the prestige honor.

His costars includes Gran Tourism’s Takehiro Hira and Miri Yamamoto as the Rental family agency who takes on the task of helping hopeless individuals. They both do an exceptional job of creating the illusion.

One break out actress is the young girl who Frazier pretends to be her father to, Shannon Gorman. As her first movie appearance one must say she handled her role like a pro next to her seasoned partner. It’ll certainly be interesting to see what other films she might be in next.

All in all, Rental Family is a heart felt movie that will have you laughing at times while tearing up at others when everything is resolved. At the end even the actors get a lesson in real emotional moments that truly matter in life.
