20 years comes full circle when Andy Saks finds herself back at the very fashion magazine, Runway which gave her a start as Miranda Priestly's assistant. Now she is back this time as features editor and things have not changed. Miranda is still the same old gastly person she once was, but now Andy has more of a chance to prove herself once again. The magazine faces the inevitiable "redesign which brings and all new challenge to everyone. Will it be enough to band together and save the magazine they all love or is it time for "new management" once and for all.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 reunites, Anne Hathaway along with Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci who all reprise their same beloved characters and create a storyline that will have fans on the edge of their seats. Additionally, familiar faces including Lucy Liu and an uncanny performance by none other than Lady Gaga herself will elevate this film in a way that all will be enertained.
Overall, the storyline follows an all too familiar one of digital media taking over traditional print and ultimately what happens time and again to well established journalists that are passed by so easily especially if they can't keep up. The entire cast does a great job of portraying this as the film comes to it's fitting conclusion. It's one that needs to be seen on the big screen as the film came out in theaters to a thursday crowd and is currently playing as of May 1st.
